Disable the noisy warnings, it makes it hard to see the more important basic

|
problems (missing prototypes for internal functions, etc - lots of sloppiness)
|
|
in amongst the chaff.
|
|
|
|
Prefer libedit over libreadline.
|
|
|
|
Fix bad AC_TRY_COMPILE check.
